A martial arts expert from South London has revealed how he fled like a jessie when he spotted what he reckons was the so called Sydenham Beast earlier this month.

The Sydenham Beast is a rumoured big cat stalking the area, and it's supposedly already attacked one man.

'Palace Puma' big cat spotted in Crystal Palace woodland (From This Is Local London)

That was in early august.

Sydenham is also famous for its large German community - including the former German ambassador's recently, which overlooks Crystal Palace Park.
