The Kazakhstan Government are currently building an embassy for extra-terrestrial lifeforms, complete with UFO landing pad.

The story's great just as that, building an embassy for aliens is a great idea. What harm could it do? Sounds great. The best bit however is the reason why they're building it, because in Kazakhstan it is apparently common knowledge that there's an underwater UFO base in the Caspian Sea!

This is the second article I've read regarding the building of this base. Both presented a picture of that comedian (can't remember his name). WHY? Does this rate as comedy to the reporters who wrote the articles? There really is nothing funny about this issue, it is real and it is extremely serious.

Real and serious? We don't even know if there ARE aliens out there yet. I think it's quite funny.

It's mostly because Kazakhstan isn't really known for much else than Borat.

But I must admit, the fact the Kazakhstan Government are certain there is an underwater UFO base in the Caspian Sea is quite amusing.
