In fact, it's a blow-up of a low resolution image. You can actually see a star at the left-hand side, but as it has been blown-up it is just a fuzzy blob. I know because this is the sort of image I get when I try to take a night sky image that goes wrong.
Yep, I have to agree this is definitely the moon. sadly most UFO sightings turn out to have logical explanations. I'd love to actually see some that couldn't be explained easily and are maybe real
