Well, these are my thoughts. I think that firstly if aliens do exist and they do come and land here that they will obviously be more advanced than us. Purely because they found us before we found them.

And so, I think that our leaders will be very suspicious of them and will also try to outdo them, but do it badly. Like, they will try and gain knowledge but in a pokey proddy way rather than in a caring sharing welcoming way.

I'll have to say that I don't think automatically that if aliens do exist and they do land that they will want something from us, they might just be observers or explorers. If I am wrong them by all means annihilate the munchers but tbh, I don't fancy our chances.

OK, it's interesting to see other people's thoughts on this sort of thing. I certainly think our leaders would cope very badly with this situation. They'd probably end up scaring the aliens off.
