    I don't understand suicide either, unless it was to avoid a painful death or save your platoon or family or something like that.

    I remember talking to someone once who'd been admitted to a hospital for trying it, and he said at the time he really didn't know what he was doing.

    I don't know how common that is, but if that's a fact, it's pretty scary.

    I totally agree. Anyone who jumps in front of a train is indeed a cock. Imagine what it's like to know you are responsible for someone's death. Obviously the driver didn't know but that doesn't make it any easier I'm sure. I also have a big problem with people who kill themselves in places where their or anyone else's children might find them.

    I guess when you are suicidal it isn't easy to make rational decisions.
