Also smith has i history of self harm and has even sliced his own face before so yes he is a very messed up man IN THE HEAD!

It's a pretty gruesome thing to do, just wondering if there was any driven reason as to why he chose that area of his body.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I can understand the anger and wanting to beat him up. Most of us would either just lay into him with our fists, feet, head or whatever, or find the nearest implement to beat him with. I can understand that sort of anger and wish for revenge. But the description seems really gruesome in a particular sort of way that suggests something premeditated rather than vengeful anger. Luckily I've never had anything done to me that is that bad so I agree that it's difficult to put myself in the same position for that reason.

My mam had a boyfriend who was violent at times. They had arguments and sometimes became a bit violent (strangling) They were aguing another time and i retaliated by pushing him. He hit me back and left a bruise on my chin afterwards.

He's the guy i mentioned in the random facts thread that had died a year or two ago,
