    Default Grooming

Not the bad kind, the looking after ones appearance kind.

Some survey or other has discovered that ladies are preferring their men to be more like Rooney than Beckham.

I know Rooneys a bit of a pleb and perhaps a bad example in comparison to Becks but the bottom line was that women can't be doing with men that are so well groomed. I know a lad that is so obsessed with his appearance that he gets his girlfriend to straighten his hair and he wears false tan.

What do you reckon? Should men be rough and ready or is it ok for them to be using lots of products and spending hours getting ready?

    Your thoughts please.

What about them 'buffing' their manicured nails whilst watching TV ?

I've never worn a false tan in my life or 'buffed' their manicured nails whilst watching TV.

Infact I don't have manicured nails.

I don't like vain men - but being too rough and ready isn't nice either...

I prefer a man to be clean - but who doesn't really need to run a brush through their hair, or even look in the mirror - looks aren't that important - but hygiene is.

EDIT - and the nails thing is just going too far - I did my husbands once (when we got married) just for the photos - he wouldn't allow me to French manicure them though...

I like men to be clean and well groomed, hubby dont straighten his hair cos he has fuck all. However the amount of young blokes that take longer than there girlfriends to get ready is ridiculous. Be clean but dont be a poser that is what I say

I must be the odd one out. I like them to be a bit rough round the edges. Not like diseased or anything just a tad unkempt
