Kissing
There's a debate thing going on at the moment as to how many kisses you give someone when you meet and great and when you say goodbye are appropriate.
I tend to kiss more goodbye than I do hello. I kiss my son and mum and a couple of close friends goodbye regulary ish but not always. I only give my dad a kiss if he's going on holiday or if its his birthday. I kiss grandma hello and goodbye but it's only grandma that's bothered, I doubt if the others notice if I do or don't and Ive heard no complaints either way. I go to kiss on the cheek but sometimes grandma proper puckers up for a kiss on the lips.
Do you kiss and do you feel awkward or comfortable with it?
Re: Kissing
I'm far too shy to kiss anybody - the wife's lucky to get one off me, even if I'm on the job. I think it's something to do with the intimacy of making eye contact.
I'm much more comfortable sneaking up behind a girl and grabbing her tits from the back. If she's doing the washing up at the time, even better!

Spend some time in Spain and you'll feel completely comfortable kissing anyone Ck.
Everyone kisses female friends (on each cheek) after any time apart. Twice on each cheek (face Vonz) if you're family or close friends.
The 'older' women often do tend to go for the lips Ck, so your gran isn't abnormal!
Mrs S and I have always been into kissing, first thing in the moring, last thing at night and quite often in between. When either of us go out, we kiss goodbye.
When we were working together, we kissed each other at home, then to say goodbye (Mrs S left before me) and when I arrived at work. Same routine every evening, a kiss goodbye as we left work and hello when we arrived home.
Living together for 24 hours each day was never a problem for us, we had two separate lives, work and home, so one never interfered with the other.
We continue to do it even now, except there's no work to get in the way.

Re: Kissing
If my dad came within an inch of my face, I'd run a mile, but I can sometimes handle my mum (I usually feel awkward and stiffen up though).
The only person I willingly 'accept' a kiss from is my auntie. She's also one of those who puckers up for a kiss on the lips - it must be an 'old woman' thing.
My in-laws always greet etc with a kiss - I'm not too keen on my husbands dad kissing me, but I don't mind his step-mum for some reason.
..and my husband and son get kisses all the time - bedtime, going to the shop - anytime any of us 'leave' for any amount of time. We also just kiss for the sake of it as well. The one who gets by far the most kisses is Yellow though - he's the only one that tries to slip the tongue in.![]()
Re: Kissing
Have the French changed suddenly A_B, they were always into kissing everyone, as are most Europeans.
