Personally, I suppose it depends on whether you can prove it or not.
If, for example, you wake up one morning with a strange memory of having been groped by alien beings and a sore arse, people will be more inclined to believe you more insane. A possible reason to stay quiet...

However if, on the other hand, you managed to kill all the little blitters, flew around the galaxy for the past three weeks in their spaceship and have the ringleaders head as proof - well, that's another matter...

Sadly not, although I really wouldn't mind getting abducted,

Stephen Hawkings is on record saying if Aliens ever visit the earth it will be to conquer, not to probe. I think I'd have to agree.

That would be going off the assumption that aliens have evolved in the same manner as us - survival of the fittest - and have an over developed need to kill and devour.

A lifeform developing on another planet may not even have a central nervous system, or even a face. That's when you step into the weird and wonderful world of aliens that are composed of shafts of multicoloured light - like in Star Trek. Our perfectly spherical beings that oddly enough look like space-hoppers
