ATMs

Yesterday we went into a main city HSBC which is our bank we use most for day to day needz.

The ATM inside said bank would only give me £300 in one transaction.

At Lloyds ATM where I do not have an account, there ATM which is outside on the wall will give me £500 in one transaction.

Other ATMs will also give me £500 in one transaction.

We were badgered for ages by this smart old tart who was trying to get us to change our banking habitz.
We do not wanna change, our system workz for us, sod off HSBC.

Mind you, I hate that Flippin bank but changing will bring headachez.

I thought it was just Americans who call them ATMs rather than cash mashines.

I'd change bank Major. It'll just bug you constantly if you don't. And it's a lot easier to change these days, they will organise everything for you. It's worth it in the long run I can confirm that.

I bank with "Crediet Bank" based in Grounewald Luxembourg but use "Santander" and "Nationwide" for day to day banking in the uk and must say "Nationwide has deteriorated in the last two years as has Santander! I only use them because it is easy to transfer cash from one to the otherin the UK and overseas ,ant advice on a better bank would be appreciated (Not hsbc or natwest them bastards ripped me off for a large sum which natwest have now paid back after a court case hsbc are trying to get out of a court order by appealing)

very true Timey but for some reason they are very good with not only myself but my family, I closed one account with them and the manager(an old school friend from Warwick) had a chat told him of my concerns and they have been great since!

Not quite Timey but I do try to get to know people who are involved in my affairs ! one of the reasons for "Santander " bank was because of having involvement with Spanish properties and the such ! it is easier if you have a UK branch of a bank you deal with in Spain! I did not know that "David" was the manager at my local branch at the time but am glad he is! it makes it easier to talk to someone that you know(he got the cane for smoking because I gave him the cigarette and legged it out the other door)
