Father's Day

I made a card with a pic of the Catalina on it, and have been enrolled as assistant/navigator to the Old Man when he takes his MG on a classic car show jobby in August (as there was nowt that he wanted for a present).

I was gonna make a model of the Catalina (1/72 scale Airfix kit) but decided that it might wait until his birthday in Feb. I also didn't think of it in time to get it made without him seeing me put it together.

I did very well indeed.

I got some Mr Natty soap which promises to improve the cut of my jib, Mr Natty moustache twizzle wax (Empires are built with this), and also from Mr Natty some of Frank's Beard Elixir

And I also received some of Captain Fawcett's 'Gentleman's Stiffener' which smells of ylang ylang.

Didn't get anything for dad and didn't get anything from the kids.

I got my dad some bike socks, they have a little square reflective piece on them so when you tuck your pants in your socks you can ride safe at night. He got wine too and I took him for a coffee.
