I remember being locked in the coal house a few times. Me and my sisters shared a bedroom, every night we'd see who could do the most roly-polys without getting dizzy and falling off the bed. My mum would shout up after a couple of 'bangs', but we'd ignore it - in the end, the 'trouble causer' was always dragged downstairs and put in the coal house for five minutes. When they returned, we'd sing in harmony until we heard the footsteps and someone else was taken down.
I was the youngest, so didn't get taken that often.
My earliest memory was of my sister betting me she could win me to have a wee on the lino floor in the bathroom. I wasn't one to lose a bet so I pushed and pushed but lost because a small pooh came out.
