Default Panic Attacks At Speed Cameras.

If he cannot cope with the everyday driving the rest of us endure then he should have his licence taken from him until such times he is cured of this imaginary bullshxx panic attack syndrome.

I hope he is paying for his own help.

Motorist forced to seek help for phobia of SPEED CAMERAS which causes panic attacks behind the wheel

A motorist has been forced to seek help to cope with his irrational phobia of speed cameras.

While millions of drivers readily admit to hating Gatso cameras, Colin Gant's disgust has gone one stage further.

Spotting a camera by the side of the road can induce panic attacks, forcing the 41-year-old to pull over while he recovers.

The management worker, who drives over 500 miles a week, regularly has to take huge detours to avoid speed traps.

How can you pull over ona motorway?

Perhaps the panic attacks at speed cameras are just a small reflection of his fear of modern day life.

Or perhaps the fine is too much for him to pay and thats why he fears them, because he is so scared of getting caught.

Who knows?, but that is definitely a first

There was a doctor on the radio this afternoon saying drinking too much coffee can give you panic attacks.

Too much caffeine mimicks panic attacks and can exacerbate anxiety for sure. Arrhythmia, tachycardia or occasional bradycardia can happen (I've had all of these...but very mildly).

Panic attacks are psychosomatic in origin usually, as long as there's no pathological or drug cause . Being psychosomatic doesn't change their reality however as people have died with physical symptoms from these kinds of conditions.

Cognitive behavioural therapy and a mild anti anxiety drug would help probably.

If this is true and he has panic attacks whilst driving then his driving licence should be revoked IMO until the medical authorities are sure that he is fit to drive again.

The guy doesn't sound fit to drive if a speed camera gives him panic attacks.
