It's hot here today - it's making me feel really laxidasical, but hopefully a storm is due (I hear some rumbles).

Nah, it's that kebab you had.

As playme said, it was roasting here this morning. The clouds have come in now but it is still 20 degrees, so no jackets required, which is very unusual up here.

Yes, it has been since lunchtime. The trees are blowing about all over the place, but it's a warm wind. It's strange.

it seems to have calmed down a wee bit now, but it was blowing a fare gale earlier, mini demics homemade tent was getting blown about a bit in the back garden earlier

It's just far too hot today and it hasn't cooled down much tonight. I haven't been sleeping because it's too hot.

I've had all the windows and the door open in an attempt to get a breeze running through the house, but it's not working. I sleep with the windows fully open (French windows - so it's as if I'm sleeping outside) and a sheet on the bed. I think about air conditioning, but then I sorta get used to the heat, so don't bother.

It's too hot for me here. I'm actually quite scared of the heat now - I don't think I can cope for much longer.

The weather has been strange recently(warm but cloudy and lots of rain) - very unusual for this area at this time of year (but nice for me). The problem is, there hasn't been a build up to allow me to cope with high temperatures. It's been middle to high 20's most of the time, but now it's just shot up and the sky doesn't have any clouds (you can feel yourself burning as soon as you go outside).

The temperature in our water has hit 30 degrees today - it doesn't cool you down, it's like having a warm bath.

I'd have jumped at the chance about two hours ago!

It's cooled down a little bit now (thank god). I've just watered the grass in my underwear - just so I could get some splashes of cold water.

I hid behind the trees when the neighbour came out - I don't want them to think I'm mental. I've seen him doing the gardening in his speedos, so I had a bit more self respect then him.
