Pissing down here, or it was. Don't mind though, coz it's not hot. Not cold either.

No heatstroke or hosepipe bans.

I'm bumping this to see if all the reports of the sizzling temperatures in the UK are true? I heard that even Scotland was getting a bit of heat.

I think we've been having freak heat as well because I don't remember it being this hot last year in April.

Tomorrow it's expected to reach 31°C and it looks like the weekend will be similar temperatures, but it'll drop to middle 20's again next week.

It's been okay ish here. Today we got some afternoon sunshine. The barometer reads 'very dry' at the moment, first time it's said that this year so hopefully tomorrow will be quite warm.

It's hot outside, but cooler inside. We don't have air conditioning, but we've got trees shading the house, so it stays nice inside.

I went out to get some colour earlier this afternoon and burnt my back and shoulders. I feel a tw*t in shorts though because the sun hasn't seen my legs for a while and I look very British, so I won't be going any further than the front gate in them just yet.
