    Paint.

My house in England was all wallpaper because the walls weren't good enough for paint - but this is a new house - so the walls are nice and even.

Mine's wallpaper downstairs and paint upstairs. I don't mind the wallpaper that much in the front room, that looks fine but I'm not keen on it in the back.

You normally have to use lining paper on walls before you can paint them.
It comes in a variety of types from plain to embossed. My all time favourite was called hessian, never goes out of fashion and pleasing to the eye.

    Whatever is appropriate.
I prefer wallpaper, but it takes me ages to get it "just right".

However after viewing other peoples attempts at wallpapering, painting is probably better.
    Cheers,

    The time old question eh?...

An enigma that has spanned the ages?..

After meditating on it for a few days in the locust position, and consulting my buddhist mentor, I have finally reached a Zen like state and have found the answer to an eternal question that many have failed on their path to seek..

Yeah, it has to be pretty fucking much paint for me too.
