    Default obsessive compulsive disorder

Anyone got any strange habits that they know don't make any sense?

When I hang my clothes up to dry I don't like putting pairs of socks together, I like to alternate them

    weird

    Yep, very weird.

I have a few but I am struggling to remember them.

I always make a cup of tea by a precise and possibly pointless method.

First the teabag goes in, then the hot water. Then I squeeze the teabag against the side of the mug ten times. Then the sugar, stir it ten times, then the milk and a further ten stirs.

I always stir in a clockwise direction, but that's not deliberate.

I always get a perfect cuppa though, so I'm fucked if I'm doing them any other way.

I've got a couple but they are too embarassing to share in public.

I'll tell you one (it's not as bad )... I won't let anyone sit right next to me. If they do I get up and move, they probably think I'm being rude but I'm not I just don't like people being in my 'bubble'. I've had arguments with people about that.

Is this folk you know or general public? I'm like that with folk I don't know - my personal space is sacrosanct. It's like when you are getting a flight and you get bussed to the plane and you are crammed in with a load of sweaty people - yuck!

I'm like that with everyone though Timey... I struggle to even give my nearest and dearest cuddles - although my kids are the exception to that.

Buses, planes and trains are a nightmare though, it's much worse... and the couple of concerts I went to where everyone just bangs into each other. I just had to get very, very drunk.

I don't know what it is, I just get panicky and start fidgeting then I've got to move before it gets too much.
