Sinead O'Conner's Nothing Compares 2 U, it came out in 1991 and after Sinead sung the "all the flowers that you planted, mama, In the back yard, All died when you went away" sentence in the song a tear rolls down her face as it apparently reminded her of her mother who had died before Sinead wrote this song.
