Just got back from seeing The Hives in Manchester
It was an excellent gig
Loads of energy and Howlin' Pelle at his insane best sounding for all the World like a deep south preacher. Just a great fun night out from a band that don't take themselves too seriously (although they say they are the best band in the World).
Pelle asked everyone in the audience to shout out their names, addresses and phone numbers so that if we didn't clap along to the next tune he would come round out houses and kick our arses
'I know you're thinking I'm just a skinny Swedish guy, but I'm crazy, so if you don't clap along you're gonna wake up tomorrow bruised'
