I think they were a really under rated band. Ian Hunter was from round my neck of the woods.

Excellent - someone back on topic at last! (And Gemo as well) Yeah, I agree they were under rated. I've got loads of Mott stuff. Some of my favourites are Roll Away the Stone, All the Way from Memphis, I wish I was your Mother, Pearl 'n Roy, and Foxy Foxy. I love Ian Hunter's voice too - it's so distinctive.
