New Order have split?
Bassist for New Order, Peter Hook, has said that the band has split up. Mr Hook who is now working solo with with the Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, made the admission on a radio interview. Hook said: "I spoke to Perry, and asked me to play bass, as he'd head about New Order splitting up and he asked me to play bass. Well yeah, me and Bernard aren't working together."
Hook blames Sumner for the split after leaving the group to work with the dance act Electronic, saying; "Bernard went off for a break with Electronic but that was different, but it's like the boy who cried wolf this time."

It's not the first time they've "split".
I'm keen to hear what Hooky produces with Perry Farrell, that should be damn good stuff.
