Question regarding radio station?
is it illegal if i create a local radio station at my home and play the songs for people?(am from chennai city ,so i prefer 2 get answers from indians) .

Could that be possible? I mean, I didn't know that we could actually make our own radio station. That's interesting but I doubt if it's going to work.

you can create a radio station with very few programs. winamp, shoutcast source and the DSP plugin. if you want more than 10-15 listeners and want the bitrate above like 64k you'll need a server not to mention both PRS and PPL license no matter how few you stream to

Well I think streaming the music over the Net will be a better idea, but I am not sure about the costs involving the server and so on.
