Henry Rollins Pals With Charlie Manson

Punk Henry Rollins has revealed to the NME that he used to be pen pals with Charles Manson.

Apparently Manson, who was convicted for the murder of Sharon Tate in 1971, thought Black Flag were cool. And who can blame him, they fucking were!

I dont know about you but I'm always down to hear old punk rockers keep it real about the media. Henry Rollins is going to be hosting this I'll webshow called "meet the bloggers" this Friday. It's live 10am pacific/1pm Eastern. He'll be talking about the corrupt media with Jon Kim from fox attacks, Liliana Segura from Alternet and Paul Waldman from Media Matters. Should make for some interesting conversation.
The show is cool because there is a live blog going on as the show happens where you can talk about the issues along with the guests.

Rollins is great to listen to. I'm not really a big fan of his live music, but his live "stand up" show is brilliant. I might give this a listen, if I can figure out what time 10am Pacific is in British time.

I can't remember the significance or why it is connected to Charles Manson, and I can't be arsed researching it further either.
