I fear he may have been beaten to the punch by Cloverfield due to the fact that (from what I gather) the whole film is shot from one persons perspective on hand-held viddy.

I'm not put off though.

This one crept up on me. There's apparently less zombie action in this one, not too little I hope.

From what I gather it's a prequel of sorts.

It is sort of set at the same time as the original Night of the living dead, but it's a modern day setting and viewed from a different perspective.

From the title it sounds like the zombies are keeping a diary and writing about their daily.

Yeah, I think it's like a video diary by some film makers when they discover the world is being taken over by zombies.

A zombie's diary wouldn't be that interesting to read.

It would just be scribbles and blood stains.

Went to see this last week.

Not as good as i'd hoped but still had some inventive moments and a fair bit of gore.

I wish it had been filmed "straight" as it were, not documentary stylee.

I'm sure it will grow on me though. Land of the dead took a while to get under my skin.
