New Dallas film could be a comedy
The new Dallas movie could end up being a comedy after director Gurinder Chadra left the project. Spoof movie Betty Thomas could apparently be taking over to direct.
Ms Thomas would become the third director, after first director, Australian film maker Robert Luketic, left before Chandra took over.
Filming for the Dallas movie begins in January and will star John Travolta as oil mogul JR Ewing, Luke Wilson as Bobby Ewing, Shirley MacLaine as Miss Ellie and producers are in talks to get Meg Ryan in to play Sue Ellen after Jennifer Lopez dropped out.
