Indiana Jones 4 is the working title of the fourth film in the Indiana Jones series which is planned to be released worldwide on May 22nd 2008. The film will starr* Harrison Ford as the title role and will be set in the year 1957.

Director Steven Spielberg recently let slip that Karen Allen is back in 'Indiana Jones 4' as Marion Ravenwood, Indy’s first love. The character helped kick off the series in 1981’s phenomenal Raiders of the Lost Ark.



It's reported that Allen returns as the mother of Indy’s son, played by 21 year old actor Shia LaBoeuf.



Sources say that Allen was asked to join the movie last January. She hadn’t been in a film since 2004.

Allen, who also starred in Animal House in 1978 turns 56 in October, but you’d never guess it.

Maybe Spielberg has plans for cameos of his real life wife Kate Capshaw, who played Wilhelmina 'Willie' Scott in Temple of Doom. One character who won’t be returning with the original actor is Indy’s dad. Sean Connery decided not to reprise his role as Henry Jones from Last Crusade.

So that's what Shia Laboeuf will be playing, Indy's son! I saw a magazine that confused me, calling him the next Indiana Jones. LOL...Now I know what that meant! Here's hoping this movie will be good!

They have a picture on imdb of Karen Allen on set of indy 4 with Steven Spielberg.

That Shia LaBoeuf appears to be in everything at the moment. He's in the new Transformers. Also in the new rehash of Jimmy Stewart thriller Rear Window - "Disturbia" - yawn!!!

He's also a voice in animated flick "Surf's up" - the one about surfing penguins, apparently.

and now this. Is he the next hot shit? I think he looks a little like Fred Savage's brother, the one who was in Boy Meets World around 1993...

It makes sense for it to be set a lot later, better than trying to make Harrison Ford look 30.

If by flops you mean box office flops? then yes he has had some that haven't made the big bucks but you can say most of his flops are certainly a lot better say than Brett Ratner's out put!

I think this is more of a case of being a box office hit for Harrison Ford more than any one, he hasnt had a big film for years, Air Force One perhaps?

This is supposed to be set post world war two and the baddies are the Russians who have (nice tie in here) found and stolen the Ark of The Covenant which possibly explains why Karen Allen is back in it!
