A CLASS of 12-year-old schoolchildren were left terrified after they were shown scenes from an 18-rated horror film during a maths lesson.

A teacher at The Regis School in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, had allowed the youngsters to watch a video from YouTube using an interactive white board.

But when a pupil selected the trailer from sick horror flick The Human Centipede, the children sat and watched a frightening clip of a mad scientist chasing down innocent victims.

The sickening trailer ends with several shots of three people with their body parts sewn together.

Mum Fearn Cranston, whose son Jack, 12, was in the Year Seven class, told of her fury at the school's blunder.

She explained: “My son told me it was disturbing and that he was scared and frightened so I looked it up, and when I saw it I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
