Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix

The next instalment of the Harry Potter series will soon be coming to your nearest cinema.
Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix comes out in UK cinema's on July 12th, then a week later will be the bookstore release of the final Potter novel.

The Order of The Phoenix looks great on the trailer and there looks to be more brill effects too. This movie sees the return of Voldemort, Dumbledore replaced with Ministry official Doleres Umbridge, and the death of Harry's god father.

I can't wait to see it, but as usual i'd probably end up seeing it on DVD first.

Looks like they have kept to the book quite well. Then again the trailers always make it look like they've followed the book and then you see it and find it's pretty crap.

Jenny (our lass) is a huge Potter fan. It's on our list of movies to see this summer.

they literally put me to sleep when I watch them. Not sure why, but just bore me for some reason and I love movies!

It's just that being a fantasy/sci-fi geek, the writing seems a little lazy to me.

"Ooooh yeah, we havn't had a unicorn yet. What about some big spiders? DRAGONS!. Maybe a centaur or minotoaur next!"

I'm sure kids that don't know much about mythology and weren't brought up on Lord of the Rings love it. For me though it's just fantasy by the numbers.

And the acting makes me squirm.
