    Default Name this film...

It was set in the late 70's early 80's (I think) and it starred a woman that looks a bit like Julie Walters who played a wife and a mother to two grown up kids.

I can't remember much about the plot but one night they decided to get a takeaway and they got Saveloy and the son didn't know what that was - I think because he'd not lived round there for a while and had gone off and made himself a living elsewhere then things went pear shaped for him.

    Help!

It doesn't ring any bells. Is that all you can remember?

    It's not Withnail no.

I'm trying to think what else I can remember. The woman who was the main character wore like old clothes and a big hefty coat, and had hair as it it was permed and set in rollers. It was set in some like either council houses or terraced houses cos they had back alleys. They were all pretty skint. It was a sort of serious drama type film, think there was a bit of slapping about going on but I can't recall any drugs in it.
