Anna Nicole Smith's The Illegal Aliens
The last film to be made by the late Anna Nicole Smith is to be released on DVD in the US, in May, the distribitors have said. Illegal Aliens is a low budget and high camp comedy and was partly financed by Ms Smith.
In the movie she stars as one of three aliens who become "super-hot babes and arrive to protect the Eath from intergalactic forces of evil", a press release says.
Illegal Aliens was shot in September 2005 and was Smith's last film project. She had also previously starred in The Hudsucker Proxy and Naked Gun 3.
A spokesperson for MTI Home Video, which is distributing the film, said the timing of its release had nothing to do with the former model's death.
The company had submitted the DVD to retailers for sale about a week and a half before she died, he said, and Smith had planned to take part in a publicity campaign for the film.
