Red Dawn ~ Remake
There seems to be quite a few ex-Home and Away stars hitting Hollywood just recently.
Two more have been cast in the forthcoming Red Dawn remake, some bloke called Chris Hemsworth who played Kim Hyde, and also Isabel Lucas who played Tasha.
Tom Cruise's son Connor is also going to be in it, as a whiny little shit as far as I can make out.

Re: Red Dawn ~ Remake
What other films has Connor Cruise appeared in. Or is this his first film?

He played a young Will Smith in Seven Pounds last year.

Ahh, yeah. I read the article on BBC site a couple of days ago. Connor's adopted, but i've never seen seven pounds so i've not seen how he acts.

This film has been finished but was shelved because of all the troubles at MGM. It's looking like it will get a release eventually though.

Re: Red Dawn ~ Remake
I'm not sure I want to see it anyway because I'm quite loyal to the original version with Patrick Swayze. That cast is pretty darn good and it's hard to imagine anyone coming close to what they did.
Re: Red Dawn ~ Remake
I do love the original, but it's probably worth doing a remake just so those who never saw the original can enjoy the same story.
Re: Red Dawn ~ Remake
They should watch the original. Lea Thompson was great, Jen Grey (though some of her stuff was cut) was fun, but that ending --- no one can do that ending with Swayze like anyone else. Man, what emotion.
