David Tennant Tipped For Hobbit Role
David Tennant is now favourite to play the part of Bilbo Baggins in the new Hobbit movie.
This is just a rumour still, brought about by the actors scheduled appearance at the San Diego Comic Con next week. The first rumour was that he would be announcing a Doctor Who movie that he would be starring in, now the rumours have turned to the Hobbit.

Well, they use a special effect. Having said that, I still don't think it's a good idea.

NO NO NO!
I like the guy but not as a hobbit, he's not fat enough of face.
Harry (Under)Hill should do it!

Harry would win, it's his rules innit?
Can't someone re-juve Ian Holm?
When I heard about the casting for the Rings trilogy, I got all excited about him being Bilbo. A role he was born to play.

Oh, I don't know ... he can look rather hobbity (cue)
But I think he is better suited to one of the younger hobbits. I think it would be difficult for anyone who steps into Ian Holm's hairy feet.
What about Warwick Davis? I first saw him in 'Willow'
but he has done quite a few others including:
