Re: Alien 5
What would the storyline be in this one?

And everything I had to know, I heard it on my radio'
Re: Alien 5
They've always talked about doing one set on the alien's home planet, so it could be that. But it could be almost anything.

Re: Alien 5
The first one was the best.

I think they're all excellent. Even the third and fourth ones.

Re: Alien 5
I wasn't keen on 3 and 4. 2 was quite good I thought, though.

Re: Alien 5
If you read as many film mags and actor/director interviews as me, this is old news.
Siggsy and Ridders have been talking amongst themselves on/off for years about a fifth.
I LOVE the Alien films and would love to see what Ridders would bring to the buffet one mo' time but I am also a bit worried by the outcome.
Lucas and Spielberg both managed to royally munch up their franchises with one (or more) instalment too many and I would hate to see Alien go the same way.
P.S.
I am overlooking AVP: Requiem. That. Was. Shit.

Re: Alien 5
Looks like the prequel is going to be about how the aliens got on that planet at the beginning of the first film.

Re: Alien 5
Great, bring it on! I love these films and yes, the first was the best but only because everything was a novelty. I'd love a prequel.
Re: Alien 5
The last one was average to say the least, wasn't too impressed by it.
Hopefully this will be much better and not a let down as you can only extend these films so much, even the Saw franchise (that's awesome in my opinion) is starting to lose it's appeal as they're stretching the storyline far too much.
