Well that is The Reader ticked off. And the Green Mile.

3 to go - although truth to tell - if i aint caught up with Trainspotting yet........

The Reader. I have had a think and found it very impressive. I can normally guess stuff but the screenplay kept wrong footing me. David Hare was it?

I kept was saying

he is going to stand up and claim Hanna at that trial but Michael didn't. and Michael spent to rest of the film sort of locked up inside himself - a soon to be lawyer too until literally at the end - he got to communicate with a very confused daughter

I watched "To kill a Mockingbird", for the first time, last week. It was mesmerising. I hate to say it, but they dont make films like that anymore.
