I'll be there on the 13th of Feb.
According to the (re)makers it's a sort of compendium of all the Friday films.
For a start, it's got Jason wearing his hocky mask, he didn't put it on 'til part 3 of the originals.
I don't expect much from this new addition to the franchise, but you never know.

The latest film is not a compendium of all the Friday films, its supposed to be a mash up of just the first three. So there should be references to the first film – how Jason came about as well as including elements from the other two films such as getting the hockey mask.
Also, from the trailers it looks darker and slicker than the last few Friday films.

Jason X. There was actually some humour in that film.
"It will take more than that to kill this old dog!" says Candyman to Jas.
Thunk/Squelch replies our hero.
"Yup - that ought to do it!" Candyman admits.
The little I seen of the rest of the franchise it is unremitting gore.
