Yes, they've made a third Starship Troopers film!

I haven't seen the second film, and from what I've heard it's not worth watching. This third installment sees the return of Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico, and also a return to the tongue in cheek black humour that made the first film what it was. RoboCop creator Edward Neumeier is writer and director, I hope he manages to emulate the style of previous collaborator Paul Verhoeven. I enjoyed the original Starship Troopers movie, it shared the same kind of comic book action and humour as RoboCop with any luck this second sequel will be just as good.

If anyone needs another reason to watch, sexy Star Trek vulcan Jolene Blalock is cast as a busty machine gun wielding trooper. Nuff said.
