I noticed earlier today that a stretch of the M6 between J18 and J19 has had the safety chevrons removed.

Yes, I know that's quite a sad thing to admit but it got me thinking. Why???

The chevrons were first put there to encourage drivers to stay "two chevrons apart". Now admittedly, no fucker ever took any notice and they were a complete waste of time and resources but why the fuck have they removed them? This will have cost more money and there must have been traffic hold ups whilst they shut lanes to remove the stripes! What a complete set of fucking wankers!
