Another thing though, is the amount of places you have to pay to park. Any view or beach or whatever that you want to see, you have to pay for the parking. That's rarely the case up here. And it tends to be day rate too, so you can't just stop to look at the view. It was very annoying.

I went there about nine years ago (it's beautiful). I'd show photos, but I was heavily pregnant, looked ill and slightly whale like, so I won't bother.
Apparently they finished building it in the 70s, when the creator died, but they have done more work since then adding the odd building etc. It still looks generally the same as it did 40 years ago though.
