Default Christmas Movies - The Great Escape from the Great Escape

I find over this season I dump my principles and watch almost anything.

Yes - anything. The Terminal, The Ice Princess (damn me - Kim Cattrall gets to keep her clothes on?) and the First Daughter? Straight to video fare if ever I saw it but I didn't care. Is there a cure?

I called a halt just now at the sight of Louis Jordan in James Bonds Octopussy. You can only watch tennis players killed so often and Maud Adams - played more alive as a corpse in the man with The Golden Gun

What is it about this season and the stuff they put on the box? I used to remember making a date for a film I hadn't seen.

And no - I haven't watched the Great Escape for at least twenty years - about twenty two showings ago.

I have been in the Cooler. "I can see! I can see!"

With what I have been watching I wished I couldn't!

Gone are the days of the excitement of the Christmas movie list, what with SKY Movies and films released on DVD so quickly and everyone having a player these days there's hardly any need for Christmas TV Movies.

ET was good though.

I still like to see the Wizard of Oz every year though.

Due respect Timey - those who see the Wizard are "off" - to see him
