The site's creator, J. Tithonus Pednaud is a Canadian historian specialising in chronicling the lives of people who were born with amazing and sometimes horrific abnormalities and deformities.

On the site you'll find everything from lobster people to (my favourite) the pinheads. Giants and dwarfs, limbless acrobats and the famous Elephant Man, Joseph Merrick.
