Becky Spraggs from Stevenage has had her personal details and pictures posted on a sex site stating she wants to be a porn star and "will do anything"!

And there's nothing anyone can do about it.

When she contacted the police she was told the matter had nothing to do with them and was referred to the Internet Watch Foundation, the UK body which deals with reports of illegal content online.

But they said they were unable to help because no law had been broken.

Lene Nielsen, of the Internet Watch Foundation, said: 'We deal specifically with illegal content.

'Unless it is child abuse or criminally obscene we wouldn't be able to do anything about it.'

A spokeswoman for internet watchdog the Information Commissioner's Office, said:

'We have to help people wise up to every aspect of the internet age they're living in.
'It may be fun but unfortunately it is not the safe space many think it is.'

Looks like a green light to me, the cops have said they can't do anything about it so basically anyone on the internet is fair game.

I think it is meant to show that we should not keep really personal stuff on the internet as it can be hijacked. It doesn't matter if it is private or not, people can hack into them and use the details how they like if they are clever enough.

I actually think this is a typcial case of the British police sitting on their hands and not wanting to do anything about it, the lily-livered morons. To my mind, this IS illegal as they have defamed her illegally and at worst she has a civil case against the perpetrators. Get a decent yank lawyer onto it and she could be minted in no time.
