Re: Sick and weird Austrians
This new case is far worse than the Kampusch case as this is his own daughter, 24 years and he gave her 7 children. I always thought that if the family connection was too close, the kids would suffer from some kind of congenital problem? Also now the kids know who their dad is, what do they call him? Dad, grandad or evil fuckin bastard?! Probably the latter!![]()
Re: Sick and weird Austrians
It is a horrible story but such stories happen in all countries. That's why I wouldn't damn a whole nation over one guy.
Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing. - Oscar Wilde

I think that was it, not 100% sure though. : \
Re: Sick and weird Austrians
Kimberly is right in my view.
"No British tourists were killed" has just been said on my radio - where in an accident overseas there WERE fatalities.
I was glad for anyone from here who may have had relatives on the vehicle but then I thought how odd and how typical. I would have reported the accident, fatalities and THEN "no British tourists killed".
But the possible stress of those here with kin is considered paramount? OK.
But let us not damn a whole nation for their nutcases and monsters. There have been British subjects here in Britain that have been found guilty of heinous crimes - sometimes in the scores and once at least in the hundreds.
Britons in general were not told Newman and Baddiel like "That is you - that is!". But so called foreigners in some media outlets are all rolled up into one seeming misbehaving mass.
An official report shot another scurrilous press "fox" yesterday by claiming at least half those from Poland who came here have since gone home.
Now where the heck am I going to find a plumber?![]()

Re: Sick and weird Austrians
This is so sick... there's no way the wife didn't know what was going on, unless she was a bit simple.
She brought three of the kids up with her husband... the kids father, err, grandfather.
Sick bastard needs strung up.![]()
Re: Sick and weird Austrians
On the radio today they were saying that the lodger that lived there for 12 years said, fritzl used to spend nights in the basement but his wife was not allowed to go down there. Sounds like he may have been a bit of a tyrant and his wife may have been afraid of him.
I just cannot believe that anyone else knew. His wife couldnt have known that her daughter and her three grandchildren were living in the basement for many many years and do nothing to help them. He spent many years planning this and carried it out with military precision.
The thing what sticks in my mind is that her first child is 19, that means she was down there for 5 years in solitary confinement apart from the visits from her dad for sex then a further 19 years with her kids. How does a mind recover from that?
Re: Sick and weird Austrians
It doesn't not fully anyway.
The man and his wife brought three of the kids up... he claimed someone had left them on the doorstep?
I'm sorry, but the wife was either in denial or she knew what was going on. You can't live in a house with that going on and know nothing about it.
Re: Sick and weird Austrians
He actually made his daughter write letters saying that she had these kids but couldnt cope. You do have a point tho, if it was my mrs she may have believed it the first time but not 3 times.
Just had a gruesome thought. Imagine if something had happened to him while they were locked up down there, they would have all starved to death!![]()
