Well, this article says what I have always believed, so I won't be.

I've never done one. They seem scary!

I'd never radically change my diet over-night though, you just don't know what your body might do in protest.

Very true. Usually I have done diets gradually and it has worked, although it takes time and will-power. On the occasion when I have done it suddenly, I have ended up ill.

Gradual is deffo best. I think it's easier to fall off the diet if it's too drastic. A diet where the pounds just fall off rapid can lead to yo-yo dieting 'cos your mind just thinks fuck what I eat for a while if it's that easy to lose. Plus losing it gradually is easier on the clothes front 'cos you can just buy a few bits here and there till you settle at your goal weight, crash diet and you end up with two extreme wardrobe sizes.

Always figured those detox products were a pile of shyte.

Lots of water, a normal amount of fruit and fresh veg as part of yer balanced diet and raise your heart rate for 20 minutes 3 times a week minimum is all you need unless you want to get fitter, then you do a little more exercise than that.

Ignore all the expensive snake oil bullshit. Boots just wanna sell more crap.
