Fucking hell. Proves my points about the use of emotional blackmail to worm baseless and destructive beliefs into people minds.

This problem is a product of the mechanism of manipulating belief. Beliefs are built on emotional charge-if you build high emotion and immediately link it to an idea, and amplify* that over time you will build an incredible fervor of faith.

This is used time and time again, in religions and cults across the planet and throughout time.

A word of warning, do not ever attend some of the more virulent cult ceremonies or extreme varieties of mainstream faith events.

For millenia the arts of mind molding have been perfected and are still effective on even well read, intelligent aware people.

I'm not simply spouting. I spent 2 years studying many forms of influence art-from hypnosis based work to cult creation, covering various forms of therapy in passing. The patterns of belief change and manipulation are quite clear if you look for them.

What I have just watched here is vile and to be honest, freedom of speech is one thing, however as this women is preaching hatred-she simply should be shot or humanely put to sleep.

Why?

Because she is a dangerous tortured soul.
Like a rabid dog, hate mongers need stopping. Stopping cold.

*Music, rhythm, chanting are the main forms of emotional amplification.

Think of a piece of music that has moved you to tears or had you head banging, dancing manicly etc

Also think of football and sports crowds when they get one on them. Social emotion is incredibly easy to play upon. This is used to great effect on a regular basis.

Hitler knew this and all charismatic preachers of various faiths know it too.

I think people are like sheep and will follow without asking. Its funny to observe how people will stand in line without question in queuing for hours at a time for the latest toy that some marketing company screams must have. Half the time people just follow for the sake of it without even asking themselves why they are doing it or thinking about what they are doing, as that would be far too much and so they just follow each other.
I have sat in a chair watching qvc half asleep and some gadget or make-up comes on the screen. I buy it half asleep and when it arrives im left thinking what the hell is this rubbish ?

No it doesn't. This is just a small church in the US - they don't speak for other Christians.
