Prison??
Just watching a programme asking whether prison works. I've never heard so much shite in my life. They keep bleating on about how they become "institutionalised" in prison and don't get enough help when they get out etc. Well don't commit the fucking crimes then!!! And all this shite about how if you are illiterate you are more likely to end up in prison. Well, go to fucking school then when you are a kid instead of mucking around. In case you haven't noticed, we have a free education system in this country, so illiteracy is no excuse. Basically, this is all just an excuse for their unacceptable behaviour.
My message to them is be a man about it. You committed a crime, you went to prison, you come out and you have to get on with it, like the rest of us have to do with no or little help for all of our lives. Why the hell should we help you? You have to convince me that it is worth my while to help you before you reckon you are entitled to it.

Re: Prison??
You forgot to mention the large number of women in prison, are you a male chauvenist?
Re: Prison??
It's all very well that we say they should get on with it, that they do the crime then do the time.
Hell I agree with you.
There is a problem we have in society. We don't have any effective measures to a)Prevent some people becoming crooks or b)Turning criminals into productive non crims.
None of us like being nannied to hell by the state either so it's actually quite a difficult challenge.
I'd love there to be a way to 100% predict the future of possible conceptions-ie. whether they'll be shits or not. That way they don't get conceived....a sort of advanced take on Minority report. Only you prevent the parents producing that particular fertilised egg :-).
That would be humane ROFLMAO!
