    Default Virgin wants Northern Rock

    Richard Branson's Virgin Group wants to take control of Northern Rock. A few weeks ago Northern Rock was facing closure and seeked emegency funding.

    If a takeover would be successful Northern Rock would be re-named Virgin Money.
