Default Newborn baby dumped in a garden

A baby boy who is thought to have been just a few hours old was found dumped in a garden in a bag in Liverpool.
The baby has been named Zack and police are currently searching for his mother.

Don't see what good that would do. If she didn't want him why do a search for her!! At least he'll go to a most likely better caring family.

Hopefully they'll find her. And prosecute her.

With all the nutters you currently have, the mother will have second thoughts, take it back, then kill herself and the kid later.

What is it with Liverpool... seems to be worse than Glasgow, and that's saying something!

    Bless. That's such a shame.

They usually want to find the mum to see if she needs medical help of some sort Alpha, she might not have passed the placenta or she could be open to infection which can have a very nasty outcome.

I find it hard to contemplate that a mum would do that to her child that she's carried for around 9 months... she must have issues.

I suppose we don't know the full story though, it could be a teenager worried to tell her parents or something... whoever it was must have been pretty desperate.

That was kind of the issues I meant. I agree it could happen to anyone...

I think most new mums are fairly doolally for the first couple of months at least, let alone those first few hours if they've had a baby in secret and have no support whatsoever - which is usually the case for abandoning babies. I don't know how I feel about the mum - I'm perhaps more forgiving because the baby is alive and well, if it had died before being found then that would be a different scenario altogether but as it is I just hope she gets medical attention.

I would think it kinder to let the baby be adopted at least then it will have at least some fighting chance in future life ...what with it being a scouser as well as having a nutter mother, lol
