Natasha Coombs' mother found dead

The body of 40 year old Joanna Coombs has been found on the same stretch of railway line where her daughter had died weeks later.

Did she commit suicide or something?

I think this is so sad Alpha, I heard it on the early morning news.

I believe the implication is that she committed suicide.

I also heard that her daughter had been struck by a train while walking along the track after a night out. I thought the daughter was thought to have committed suicide too (or did I misunderstand that)?

I remember the mother and father saying that they'd had a slight argument with her before she left home quite upset. Can you imagine how dreadful that mother felt when Natasha was found?

Just awful.

That reminds me of our first cat, Hobbs.

We'd had him a while with no problems at all, then one Friday night we set off walking into town to meet up with some friends for a beer, and he started to follow us.

I picked him up and took him back, but he followed again. After three goes at trying to take him back we set off but this time didn't look back, assuming he'd give up on us and turn for home himself.

When we got back at about 2am, walking down the the hill towards the top of our road, we saw a lump in the gutter - we both knew immediately it was him. I picked him up, wrapped him in my jacket and held him close - he was gone. It was the saddest night of our lives.

EDIT: Plus the jacket was ruined, and it was a bastard of a job flushing him down the bog. Fucking stupid cat!
