A book called 'Don't mention the war' it's all about mass media and propaganda surrounding the IRA.
Very interesting as it compares how many 'civilians' the IRA killed and how many the goverment killed... if more people were aware I know who they would've been calling terrorists... and it ain't the IRA!
Also trying to get through my recommended reading... Scottish Legal System Essentials![]()
Sorry, I didn't explainmyself very well (not the first time), the police and the army are under instruction of the government... in Ireland at the time the army and police killed 57.4% civilians (innocent uninvolved people compared to correct targets) and the IRA killed 37.4 civilians. Both will claim the killing of civilians is accidental and the IRA even apologise profusely if civilians get involved.
"Terrorism is the systematic use of murder or other physical violence for political ends"...
So who do you think were the terrorists?
It's all happening again but in Britain with the Iraq war and the 'terrorists' in UK... who are the REAL 'terrorists', by definition of the word?
Think about mass media...
Anyhoo... interesting book![]()
