For a start the figures don't add up Major. £7,500 per household is the overall total from all nations, so they're not getting seven, or seven and a half grand per family from the British taxpayer at all, that's a complete lie.

The real figure, if anything in that article is true, is £5,100 per household from UK taxpayers.

But, considering the Mail are clearly just making up numbers, can't perform simple sums and have written a story where nothing adds up, what part of it can you believe? The figure could just as easily be completely fuck-all and nowt.

What very well might be happening is that we are coming to the aid of 2,250 desperate families, which is surely a good thing.
